Six year-old boy in ‘serious condition’ following Aberdour collision

Police are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision in Aberdour.
The collision occurred on Main Street at around 6pm on Tuesday 3 November and involved a blue Mercedes Sprinter travelling eastbound and a pedestrian.
A 6 year-old boy was taken to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy, then the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, where he is in a serious condition.
The 46-year-old driver was uninjured.
The road was closed from A921 to the B9157 to allow emergency services access. It was reopened at around 10pm and the public are thanked for their patience during this time.

“We’ve already spoken to a number of witnesses but are urging anyone who has not yet come forward to get in touch.”
