Highly popular and up-and-coming local band The Dicksons have announced another major gig.

The Dicksons have been lined up to headline King Tuts in Glasgow on 26 August.

Frontman Martyn McGuire, a resident of Dalgety Bay, said the West Fife band was organising coaches to transport people through to the venue from the Kingdom for local supporters who want to attend.

Martyn added: “We’ve played King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut twice now as a supporting act. We’ve now been given the opportunity to headline the iconic venue. Let’s pack the place out and make it a night to remember!

“It’s the same day of the Mayweather v McGregor fight, so this will be perfect to get you in the mood for the fight in the early hours of the morning.

“We’ll be putting on buses and booking hostel rooms if anyone wants to stay through in Glasgow and party with us,” he added.
