Staff and management at the Dalgety Bay Fish Bar have added their support for a local good cause.

The chippy is supporting the Cookie Jar Foundation – an initiative set up by the family of former Inverkeithing High School pupil, Christopher ‘Cookie’ Coutts.

Sadly, Chris died aged 19 after a battle Hodgkins Lymphoma cancer.

Fish suppers were sold at only £2.50 by the award winning fish bar until 11pm on Monday, 14 July 2014, with proceeds going to the foundation.

The Cookie Jar is a not-for profit foundation established to help meet funding requirements for a wide range of notable   beneficiaries. The main aim is to provide support to both children and those in need of help, whether it be in hospital, educational or community based environment.   It hopes to fund vein finding equipment for cancer wards.
