After a long campaign by Bay Skate Park supporters, a new facility has finally opened.
Enthusiastic young skaters will now be able to enjoy the skate park over the school Easter holidays.
The council-funded £80,000 skate park has been constructed on a strip of land neighbouring the Vauxhall motors showroom and the edge of Dalgety Bay Sports and Leisure Centre.
Fife Council said there had been community concern expressed over noise from the facility.
Concerns were raised at the planning stage that noise from the skate park might disturb the residents of Moray Park.
However, a noise assessment conducted by council officials highlighted there would be little nuisance to the nearest residents.

Previously, a well-used skate park was situated in the industrial estate.
